Effective Foot Cream for Soft, Hydrated Feet
By Yassamin Heidari on Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2025
I’ve been using this foot cream for a week now, and it’s been effective! The texture is smooth and not greasy, which is a huge plus. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving my feet feeling soft and hydrated without any sticky residue. I especially love how it helps with dry, cracked heels—after a few applications, the difference is noticeable. The light, refreshing scent is subtle but pleasant. Overall, this foot cream has definitely improved the overall comfort of my feet. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and effective foot care product!

I love this stuff, but it has lanolin, and is not cruelty-free. : \

I've been using this stuff for years, and am just now noticing that it has animal products that aren't cruelty-free. : \ The good: It's super intense stuff. I actually use it on my hands, and not feet -- for when they are over-washed and dry. It's crazy thick, but if you rub it in for a few minutes (and it takes a few minutes), it's the only thing that sticks to your hands for the long-term. And it is very sticky. I keep a tiny jar of it in my bag at all times, bc I hate having dry hands. ...Bear in mind, you do have to be mindful not to touch grease-absorptive stuff for a while afterward. It will leave a mark. But that's the kind of moisture I need. It's definitely not your average "lotion." The bad: It's a shame Burt's Bees feel the need to use animal products. Sheep shorn for wool are often shorn hastily, which injures the animal, who are then they are sent out as meat. (Unless they are sourcing their lanolin from small, boutique animal-rights focused sheep farmers -- which I doubt.) Burt's Bees also use carmine in all their red-colored lib balms and products, which is made of smushed beetles. (Yes, you're rubbing dead bugs on your face.) I'm learning over time that Burt's Bees -- despite appealing to a more natural and ethical base -- might not be TOO concerned about cruelty-free products. Substitutes: I've been buying... - "Alaffia Africa's Secret multipurprose skin cream," and - "Trader Joe's Head to Toe balm," which are both great -- just not quite as sticky. * I'll look for other, more ethical equivalents to this product, since I do love it, for its purpose. When I find one, I'll make sure to edit my review!
