Digestive Advantage Lactose Defense 3 Pk

This is a NEW REVIEW. Previously I had reviewed this product and described how life changing it was for me. HOWEVER THEY HAVE CHANGED THIS PRODUCT despite Schiff insisting that they have not. They SAY it was always the same product, and always contained wheat, but I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS. The reason I do not is that I have used the original product, for about ten years with no problems. I am Celiac, and very sensitive to gluten. As many Celiacs are, I am also lactose intolerant. FYI, these are both medically diagnosed conditions. I was receiving the product on auto shipment. I noticed the color change of the capsules from green to white, but stupidly assumed they were just making them without added dyes. after a while, I began to get gluten sick, and trying to figure out where I was getting small amounts of gluten. Then someone on the Celiac Forum mentioned their problem with this and I came to, checked the label on the old boxes and compared them to the ones I have been getting since they went white and there it is. Contains Wheat! They also changed the dosing from one a day to one before meals. I am so disappointed and upset, and their attitude when contacted was pretty nasty. Does anyone out there know of another product or substitute that would work the same way? a combo of a particular set of probiotics and lactase? Im all ears. I am also DONE WITH ANY SCHIFF PRODUCT. And, I am spreading the word.
