Im pleased with my purchase
By Katy Thomas on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2017
It just arrived today, earlier than scheduled. Package was a little torn but everything inside was OK, just anew knicks in areas that are concealed as you assemble the unit . I put all the pieces in order by numbers and made sure that I had all the pieces and hardware listed on the instructions manual, which is very clear and easy to follow. You only need a screwdriver (instructions says Phillips #2), but I couldn't find one (shame) so I used a Dewalt power drill that has all kinds of attachments and screwdriver tips. First time using that thing mind you, but I think it would've been more time consuming with a manual one. I followed the instructions accordingly and it took my inexperienced self about 1:30 hours total from unpacking to the last part. I just had a misshap with the door knobs because the manual says to put them on the doors almost at the end and when I was fixing to do it, the doors had closed and I couldn't pry them open because they have magnets. I had to take a broomstick and pass it thru the cable holes in the back and push the doors open. I recommend putting the knobs before even mounting the doors, it won't disrupt the steps that follow. The unit is very pretty and mine doesn't have that greenish yellow hue that some other reviewers mention, is more cream/ivory colored (to me) as I expected. It is spacious and feels solid but easy to move around. Be careful with it because it scratches easily. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

The Smell!!!
By Sandra on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2014
Exactly what I was looking for and the price was perfect. Another happy element to my order was it arrived in two days. The dealer breaker? The odor. It smells so terrible. A Formaldehyde smell of sorts. Not sure if they spayed the piece w/ it to deter insects or what.... but holy cow. We couldn't even keep it in our house. We took all the pieces out to the garage and left it there for a week, waiting for the smell to dissipate. It is now in place; however I have an onion and a plate of baking soda inside the cabinet -- attempting to soak up remaining smell. I have a terrible headache as a result. Ugh!!! Aside for the order, it's lovely, easily put together, etc. After reading all the reviews, I'm surprise not one other mentioned a smell factor.
