L'Oreal Paris Collagen Face Moisturizer

I have used this product for 20 years. I am a product loyalist and have recommended it to more people than I can recount. When people have asked me how, at 57, I look 40, I point them to this. Unfortunately, L'Oreal has changed the product in multiple ways and it is no longer performant IMHO. The first problem is that once the product soaks into my skin, it no longer feels as moisturized. It's still nice going on, but about an hour later, my skin feels dry again. The old formula lasted all day and all night. Secondly, the fragranced version now smells like some sort of sticky watermelon candy — like a Jolly Rancher or something — and literally makes me nauseous, the scent is so overwhelming. I appreciate that there is an unfragranced version, but I actually liked the older, subtle scent that reminded me of Estée Lauder. It is so disappointing that L'Oreal has changed this product after all of this time to something I no longer believe in. I will likely be looking for a new replacement to this product from a different manufacturer.
