The best face sunscreen for men IMO

EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 is hands down the best sunscreen I’ve tried, and it comes highly recommended by my dermatologist. As a guy in my mid-30s with a beard, finding a sunscreen that doesn’t leave a weird white film or oily residue has always been tough. Most sunscreens either feel heavy, smell odd, or get stuck in my facial hair. This one is a game changer. The texture is light and easy to apply, and it disappears into my skin without any chalky cast, my beard looks completely normal. No greasiness, no stickiness, and no scent, which I appreciate since I have sensitive skin. I also like that it has ingredients like niacinamide that help keep my skin calm and clear. For the price, it’s surprisingly good value. There are cheaper sunscreens out there, but none that work this well for my skin and beard. I finally understand why my dermatologist called it the best bang for your buck. If you want sun protection that you barely notice and that won’t mess with your facial hair, EltaMD UV Clear is absolutely worth it. I’m glad I switched.

Smells strongly of plastic

This is the 6th time I've purchased this since it's an easy everyday sunscreen (albeit expensive for what it is, but my FSA pays for it). Unfortunately, either the formula changed or this batch is contaminated. The sunscreen smells VERY strongly of plastic,.to the point where the smell lingers on my skin after using it. I thought at first it was because I had just opened it or something, but the smell hasn't diminished 2 months later. It's not expired either. I contacted EltaMD about it since it was past the return window by the time I had opened it, and they won't do anything because it was purchased on Amazon, which is disappointing. I won't be buying this again, switching to another brand.
