Kala Solid Acacia Concert Ukulele

I purchased this uke for my wife's birthday and she loves it. Having grown up on the beach in SoCal she always wanted one and she loves the action and tone - as do I. It is an attractive instrument and we like the matte finish, but if you are looking for something shiny note that this isn't it. The solid wood sounds great and the quality was up to par with the price. I'll review the vendor separately - George's Music - they did just fine and I'd use them again. I also want to put a plug in for The Cymbal Guys who I had originally ordered from. They had one in stock and when they inspected it prior to shipping they found that the body was cracked so they stopped shipment and contacted me. They offered to drop ship from the manufacturer but because it was for my wife's birthday i felt I had to go with another vendor who had it in stock. However I really appreciated them doing the pre-ship inspection and not sending on something that they knew was defective. Very professional and nice folks too. I would trust them with my order anytime.
