This Thing Is A BEAST!

BE WARNED this thing is big! I'm not sure why I didn't look at the dimension before I bought it but when it arrived I was shocked to see that it was packaged in such a gigantic box! I thought it must be the box with foam padding inside. Silly me, I based my impression of this product on the provided image and from what was shown it appears to be small enough to fit on my table but I couldn't be more wrong. It doesn't even fit on my table! I had to put it on the ground! I thought it was one of those small little portable heater that can easily be placed on a desk @_@ Well, this thing is a beast! For the price it's definitely worth every penny. The instruction was easy to follow and I was able to have it run on a set timer without a problem (contrary to some other reviews had mentioned). This thing warmed my room literally within minutes. If you're looking for a superior beast of a heater for the winter season to warm those chilly feet this one is definitely worth the attention. Bang for your buck compared to other more expensive heaters and can easily go toe-to-toe with them! **Update 1/8/2018** Since I bought this heater way back in December 2013 I had originally gave it 5 star. This thing has finally kicked the bucket. Granted I've only used this heater during the Winter months and only at night when I sleep. During the day I turned off the unit before I go to work. So this unit lasted a little over the warranty period of three years as claimed by the manufacturer's warranty. When it worked it works great. But now there is something wrong with the controls and the unit won't turn on. The red light is on when plugged into the wall outlet but no numbers are displayed and doesn't matter what I tried, nothing happen and the unit is unresponsive. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones to have it worked this far as compared to so many reviews here that states their unit stopped working within a few weeks. I'll keep the 5 star rating as my unit did worked beyond the three years warranty period. Most likely will buy a different brand that will last longer.

Positives and negatives

Ive had this for about 5 months now. Positives: It works You can set a temperature and it works to keep it close to that range. There is a timer function Negatives: It is easy to make a mistake. Let me explain. When you press the on button once, it is in "full blast mode" where the heater is just fully on. You have to press an up or down temperature button to turn it to the "thermostat setting" where it will keep to the set temperature. There have been a few times where, either we turn it on without pressing an up or down button, and the heater is in full blast. Our baby sleeps alone in another room with this heater and it could have been very, very dangerous!!!! Our baby was crying and when we checked, the room was blazing hot! I think it would not be such a difficult fix to correct this. One would be to make the default when the unit is turned on to start on the set thermostat setting. Another fix would be to make a switch or dial that can be turned to the fully on vs thermostat setting. I think most people would usually use this heater in one of these functions most of the time. Until this user function is worked out, I would give this unit 2 stars.... if they were to correct it, I would give it 5 EDITED: This heater no longer works. I've been using it for about 4 months now. It shuts off after a certain amount of time for no apparent reason. Found out because our baby's room was freezing cold in the morning. What a piece of junk.
