Bazooka 8" 50W Complete Bass Kit

I purchased this for my 2006 Taurus to suppliment the factory system. I could not be more pleased with how it performs. However if you want super thunder bass that the cars around you will hear, this isn't the sub you want. It does guve more than enough bass for the people in your car. It isn't overpowering, but you will definately feel and hear the lows that factory speakers just cannot reproduce. I don't know if I would put it in a sedan. because it is a little tricky to mount. But it would be perfect in a wagon, hatchback or minivan. The mounting system and quick connect coupler make it easy to remove if you need the extra room. The wiring harness included witgh the sub makes wiring a snap if you have some experience - first time electricians may want some help though. I installed mine start to finish in about 1.5 hours. You can't beat the price, as it is worth every penny. It is the perfect addition to make your factory system sound much, much better. Update: I recently bought another one of these for my 2015 Taurus, and I was again pleasantly surprised with its performance. I thought with my car being a sedan, it would be hard to hear being in the trunk. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It seems to use the whole trunk to amplify the bass, and really reverberates through the cabin. Now it did take myself and a friend about 4 hours to install, but we weren’t trying to break any records. This item is still well worth the money, and it gives off more than enough bass. If you are looking for a sub that people down the street will hear, this isn’t the one. But it nicely fills the low end void that the factory system leaves. I highly recommend this product!
