Update: I've been using this daily/nightly for almost 4 weeks now. I like how the cream feels, but do I notice anything that would make me want to pay $110? Not yet! The results aren't so apparent that I'm ready to open my wallet and pay $110, instead of an eye cream that is less expensive. But it does help the eye area to be moisturized nicely, and it feels wonderful when applying it - as well, there's still no irritation for my sensitive skin. It does make me realize how much I do need a cream specifically for the eye area; however, I will try some less expensive brands that fit my budget, once this is empty. A hint for you as well is that you can use this around your lip area, too. If you are in your 40s/50s, this area needs extra attention as you slip into your later 50s and into your 60s. ----------------- 2.0 stars on the price, which I find ridiculously high. A light, no fragrance, thick blue-tinted cream. I applied a little bit - you don't need much (and good thing since this cream is super expensive!), with the pad of my finger all around my eye area - even a little on the lid. Don't get any of this in your eye - I accidentally dabbed a little in my right eye and it was not pleasant! So don't get in a hurry; take your time and gently pad on the cream. As I applied, the cream felt cooling - it really did feel rather marvelous. Afterward, there wasn't any irritation - and I have sensitive skin. Though it made my skin feel great, when you touch the area where you applied the cream, there's an almost "drying out" feeling to it (update: this went away so either I became used to it or?) though you don't feel a tightening and drying; I believe this is from the effect of the cream doing its thing to tighten the area around the eye. Apparently there is caffeine in it and that may be part of this effect. .5 ounces is more than it sounds like. It's a good bit of cream in the jar (see image). Though, still, $112 (at time of this review) for any eye cream is, as I wrote above, ridiculous. I was tempted to give it 3 stars just because of that, and believe me, if I don't see any results after about 2 weeks of use, then I will be back to update those stars (I did). I did a lot of research on Obagi before writing this reviews. While there are mixed reviews from "professional" skin care websites, the reviews from consumers are nothing short of glowing. People love this stuff and claim that it does wonders for them. So, I can't wait to see if I have the same results - and I will be back to update in about 2 weeks. If you can overlook the price (and I can't, because I'm on a tight budget!), then this may be a cream you want to splurge on - at least according to the reveiws and comments from happy consumers I've found in my research. There are more claims of "this stuff is wonderful and I love it!" than there are negative claims. Apparently, as well, this product line is sold in dermatology offices, which is a positive thing. I did find this eye cream at other stores for near half the price - knock offs? They don't know what they have? I don't know, but it's something to consider. This is really a preliminary review, since it takes several weeks for any "results" to show, so I'll be back to update this review with continued use of this product.
