"Squared" bottom is great, but the bag is a little too floppy for my purpose.

Glad used to sell a 1/2 gallon, square bottomed bag that was more rigid. They were perfect for my use. I use these for "sinks" while back packing, mountaineering, etc. The Ziplock version is made from softer (thinner?) plastic, so they tend to collapse when they are more that 1/4-1/2 full of liquid, but since the Glad product is no longer available these are the next best thing.
