According to Amazon, on this visor, the “Dri-FIT fabric helps keep you dry and comfortable.” From continued use in a variety of instances, from workout to walking to simply sitting doing schoolwork, that the dri-fit material does its job. During workouts, the visor is light enough to where it’s not a distraction and cool enough to provide comfort to my rather warm body temperature. Also, having worn white caps before, I especially like the fact that the cushioned sweatband is black, because white would show all the dirt from sweat and dead skin off my forehead. Right off the bat, my first issue with this hat was the excessive amount of tags on the fastener strap because they stuck out whenever I wore the cap and I would have to keep tucking them under the strap. Eventually, I cut off the tags and the cap was no longer a bother. Another main issue I have with the visor is how easily it wicks the dirt off anyone’s fingertips and leaves stains on the main white part. Yes, anything white, especially clothing, being exposed to so many pollutants, will get dirty and require washing but since this visor has black components, it can’t be washed with bleach. So, even though strong stains can be washed out, over time, it will develop a dirty tint to it. Luckily, I haven’t worn it enough in the last four months that I’ve had it to notice a tint. I play volleyball and one issue that I’ve frequently run into while playing is either the ceiling lights or the sun blinding me just as I am about to take a hit at the ball. Playing with this cap on definitely helps. It blocks the sun and lights that can potentially cause me to miss the ball. On Amazon, Joy’s review attests, “My daughter wears this for softball. Fits well and shields the sun from her eyes.” This is only one of countless that I have reviewed that praise this visor’s usefulness for those who play sports, whether indoors or outdoors. The only other aspect of this visor I can think to comment on is malleability. From Amazon’s reviews, Information Dad says, “My son asked to have this. I said sure after doing some research. The fit is as expected, not too large or small. Just right. Once we washed it though, it got out of shape just a bit. But I don't think you should be washing these much.” Though I did not run into this issue from handwashing, I did leave the visor in my book bag and once I removed it, the cap was slightly deformed; specifically, it was scrunched up which left a higher arch in the cap. Luckily, it was fairly easy to flatten out the cap back to its original shape and it kept its form. Overall, I think this is a great visor. The adjustable fit is perfect for a wide range of head sizes, the dri-fit material provides cool comfort and the cap is overall just stylish and goes with almost every outfit. I would 100% recommend this cap as the cons do not outweigh the pros.
