I searched far and wide for the best iPad stand and this is it.

I like this iPad stand so much, I bought another one. Now I have 2. It is a great product. You can find this product for an OUTSTANDING LOW PRICE on Amazon. There is a competing product that looks exactly the same which costs 6x (six times as much). The competing product is over 200 dollars, and I got this product for under 40 dollars, on discount with free super saver shipping, both times I purchased. Forget all those iPad stands that balance on a table. Terrible. You want an iPad stand that is like a Microphone stand. This can point the iPad up, down, sideways, almost any direction. You can lay down on the couch or bed with the iPad fairly lifted over your head, or slightly to the side but still lifted up and pointing down at your face so you can read the iPad. You are hands-free. Another set-up is you can sit on the couch or chair, and the ipad is lifted in front of your face level, instead of looking down at your lap and holding it, or instead of looking on a nearby table where you balance the tablet. A trick that you may not notice at first with this product --- you can twist the handle on the pole, and this allows the pole to slide up to a higher height. The height of this pole at full extension is taller than a person. It is very tall. You could use this on a bunk-bed top row if you wanted. Another tip or trick is, you may want to add a bungee cord, or some kind of rope or tie on the pole, OR ADD A HEAVY BOOK on the base of this, or tuck the feet under your bed or table or chair so it is more secure. The laws of physics still apply. The stand can lift the iPad and reach it out, but, the iPad is heavy so if you reach the arm too far, it wants to tip over. This can be fixed or prevented with weight on the feet of the stand, or a rope pulling the back of the stand's arm downward, to compensate for the weight of the iPad. Even with this factor, this is still the greatest iPad stand I have seen.
