Smudge-proof and Sweat-proof!

I was looking for a new liquid eyeliner, as the one I had used before doubled in price. I read countless reviews and suggestions which led me to the NYX Epic eyeliner as it was said to not budge and be hard to take off. BUT it smeared instantly on me! So I went back to reviews and tried this Stila one and... the positive reviews are legit! I live in a very wet/humid/sweaty climate and sweat easily, and this stuff didn't budge AT ALL. I wore it for 9 hours, even as sweaty as I was, and wiped the liner with my finger, and it still didn't move nor did it transfer to any other part of my eye area (looking at you, NYX). I didn't use any primers beforehand. Just pure Stila eyeliner! This will be a staple in my makeup routine now.

Goes on nicely, doesn't stay all day

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I read such great reviews of this, so I got one. I always have primer on my lids, as they tend to get oily throughout the day, and then I apply any eyeshadow or liner afterward. This stuff only lasts maybe 4 hours, then it starts to disappear. I do like how smoothly it goes on and how quick it dries... everything else about it. So I'll give it a few more chances. But so far it's not staying as long as I'd like.
