Comfortable Protection for a Perfect Fit
By Real Deal on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2023
As someone who values both safety and comfort during intimate moments, I recently decided to try the Trojan Magnum XL Large Size Lubricated Condoms, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the large size of these condoms provides a perfect fit, which is essential for maximum comfort and peace of mind. They are designed to accommodate those who may find standard condoms too tight, offering a more comfortable experience without sacrificing protection. The lubrication on these condoms is just right - not too much to feel excessively slippery, but enough to ensure smooth and pleasurable intimacy. It helps to enhance sensitivity and minimize any discomfort, making the overall experience enjoyable for both partners. One of the key factors that attracted me to these condoms is their strong and reliable construction. I felt confident knowing that I was using a high-quality product from a trusted brand like Trojan. The condoms are made with premium materials, and I have not experienced any issues with breakage or slipping during use. Additionally, the discreet packaging of the 12-count box is convenient for storage and easy to carry around. It allows for a worry-free and spontaneous experience whenever the need arises. I appreciate that these condoms are latex, which is a material known for its effectiveness in preventing sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies. However, as with any condom, it's crucial to follow the instructions for proper usage to ensure maximum protection. In conclusion, the Trojan Magnum XL Large Size Lubricated Condoms have become my go-to choice for intimate protection. Their comfortable fit, reliable performance, and peace of mind make them a top-notch product that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a safe and enjoyable experience with their partner.

This line is fairly good, but the packaging is unnecessarily giant to make ...

Large condoms are a vortex of confusion. This line is fairly good, but the packaging is unnecessarily giant to make you feel like you are, which makes them annoying to carry. Just how long and wide are magnums vs XL? It's not listed on trojan's site, and the measurements on various sites around the net all disagree with each other. What do they agree on? Almost all condoms are about the same size. How much wider is the XL than the regular? 1-2mm (55/54 vs 56). Negligible. How much longer? Similar (the same or 5mm different) Indistinguishable from the other magnums and really from most condoms (even the smallest are only 10% smaller .. latex stretches largely). This is significantly deceiving when the manufacturer states that they are 30% larger and the size buyers are normally worried about constriction not length. Stranger yet, the real significant differences in size they don't even explain! The condoms in the line differ by shape, which they are rather murky about, but may matter a lot more. The difference is the regular magnums are a flared condom (wider at the top, tight at bottom) but regular otherwise, the XL are the same width at the top, but are wider at bottom, making them a standard non-flared style condom that's just a little bit bigger, but no bigger than the magnums at the head supposedly (but they look a lot bigger in the package due to the base). Even weirder the other varieties of magnum (bareskin, thin, ribbed etc) are randomly different sizes and shapes which is not well explained anywhere, and is explained on other websites in a conflicting way (in several cases their mm and inches listings were even in conflict with each other). Worse still, a primary factor influencing how tight a condom feels is how easily it stretches.... So a thin condom may well feel considerably less tight than a regular one as it stretches more easily. Manufacturers seem not to be very interested in sorting this out for you so you can have a good sex life, but instead seem to be too busy advertising to your aspirational identity to give you any of this information. And online vendors seem content to make it up to deliver perceived value. A real test website would inflate them with a fixed amount of air pressure, and measure their circumference at each location and total volume. As far as I know this doesn't exist. Finally and lastly, all condoms seem to have super mediocre short lasting lubrication to save money.... I'm sure somebody makes a premium product at a reasonable price with clear measurements but I haven't found it yet. This too could be quantified in tests by measuring friction over time. I would say .. this should be easy to fix... but a few years ago, I consulted with a friend who started a "super premium" condom brand. While they list measurements and materials more clearly on the package. They are manufactured in the same plants in malaysia and thailand that other vendors are, and have significantly limited choices in molds and lubricants without spending way more money in product design and testing and national and international certifications than is desirable, then there's the matter of shelf space and trust recognition. Anyhow, these are a solid ... OK. Kind of like a premium fast food avocado turkey sandwich from mcdonalds with an expensive box that tells you its healthy.
