It does have shuffle and sounds great!
By Faisal Yaqoob on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2014
It seals water well, sounds great and works great. I don't expect "Beats by Dr Dre" like sound under water but it does an amazing job to deliver great sound while swimming. I would compare the sound quality to that of $20-$30 Sony headphone. Many people asking if it does have a shuffle function and many people reporting yes and no mixed replies. The truth is IT DOES have shuffle and you enable it by pressing NEXT key WHILE IT IS PAUSED and disengage by pressing PREVIOUS key WHILE PAUSED. Only available in 2013 and newer models. However, in both modes it never plays the previous track that was just played and I don't even think it plays previous track in the list. I think previous key is programmed to play a random track. May be I am wrong but I was never able to play a song that was just played or restart current song from the beginning. To get best out of it you should spend time to properly insert and seal the ear buds into the ear before going into water. You know it is sealed when you stop hearing noises and it feels very silent and quite despite a pool full of people. Be careful not to damage your ear drums and chose the right size inserts and it should get you going for long time. I an writing this review after two months of use while swimming 2-3 times a week lasting 35-45 minutes each.

Purchase at your own risk
By Jay J on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2013
I never thought I'd see the day when I could listen to music while swimming, but here we are. I bought these for just over $50 including shipping. It has 4 gig which should keep you swimming for a very long time. I've been using these for about 3 weeks now and I swim three times a week. The first time I used them was very odd, because they fit snuggly in your ears, dramatically reducing the noise from swimming, making it very easy to hear your music. I swim between 40-80 minutes and being able to listen to my music for that length of time has been awesome. The charge really seems to hold as I have only charged it once, when I first received it. They instructions state that you may need to use your swim goggles to help keep the headset in place and I did find that was the case for me. The only issue I have had is that I seem to get water in my ear after 20 minutes or so. I need to stop and shake the water out of the earbuds and my ears and reseat the earbuds. Since the headset comes with different size earbuds, I may swap them out to see if that helps. They also send different earbuds that can be used for running. I'd spend the $50 again. Revised review, 4/19/2013 I had previously provided a review for this product, which was favorable. And my initial use of the product stood up to the review. However, due to subsequent events, I am now revising my review to discourage anyone from purchasing this product. In my first review, I stated that I was having difficulty hearing out of the left side of the product and assumed it was water in my ear. That proved not to be the case as the problem persisted when the item was used out of the water. This was after about 3 1/2 weeks of use. Since the left side was not functioning, I returned if for a replacement. It took just over a week to receive the replacement unit and that is when things took a significant turn for the worse. The unit that was sent as a replacement was not new, but a poorly repackaged "refurbished" unit, which did not work straight out of the box. I consider this a very poor aspect of product support. I chose to return the unit for a refund. I then purchased a new unit as opposed to attempting the return process. This is when things turned from worse to completely unacceptable. The new unit failed straight out of the box. It would power on when connected to a power source, but as soon as the unit was disconnected from a power source (using the cable provided), it immediately powered off and would not power up. This was the same behavior of the replacement unit that was sent to replace the original device. That makes a 100% failure rate on the 3 separate devices I've attempted to use. My advice to prospective purchasers is you purchase at your own risk. But I will never attempt this product again.
