Verilux Rise & Shine Natural Wake-Up Alarm

I have always been a fan of verilux products, which is one of the reasons I chose this product over other brands. I am also a big fan of Brookstone, which is another reason I chose this one. The features and the design of this one was the third reason I chose this. I hated getting jolted by an alarm clock in the morning and I hated more waking up in the pitch black when my body and mind would think, it's dark out, I shouldn't be awake yet. I also disliked that my husband would hit the snooze button every 10 minutes for 30 minutes so I would get jolted every 10 minutes. This light alarm clock allows us to start waking up 15 or 30 minutes before we need to wake up. It allows us to not have to hit snooze (although the feature still exists if you want to). We can progressively wake up to the light softly and without stress. Then we have the sound soother noise (or radio if you choose) on top of it, which is not only soothing, but also a guarantee that if you slept too heavy and the light didn't wake you up, the sound will at the time of the alarm setting. Although I can't imagine the light not waking me up. The sleep feature, which I didn't really think I would use when I bought it, has since turned into one of my favorite features. Every night I go to bed with the sound of waves (one of the sound soothing choices) and the spa light, which gently runs through different colors in a strategic order. The sound slowly softens and after the amount of time set (15 or 30 minutes) the sound disappears and the light turns off. It is a very relaxing way to fall asleep. My husband even likes that feature, and I didn't think he would. In the end, we love our rise and shine light alarm clock and will never go back to a radio or buzzer alarm.
