Kirkland Signature Quick Dissolve

One asks oneself why do companies put so much stuff into products...stuff that is not the main item one seeks to purchase. This product Kirkland Sublingual B-12 is a prime example. I wanted to buy vitamin B-12 with methylcobalamin. I did not read the additional contents listed and I went ahead and ordered it anyway. BIG MISTAKE. Each tiny tablet of this product has a lot more than 5000 mcg of B-12. It unfortunately also contains mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, stearic acid, methycoblamin, silicon dioxide, natural cherry flavor, red beet root, sucralose, manesium stearate. Label also casually adds: "May contain citric acid, gum arabic, maltodextrin, triacetin". Hmm, does it or doesn't it? Makes you wonder about this company's quality control. So there is in this product a lot of stuff that isn't vitamin B-12 or methylcobalamin. What exactly is "crospovidone" anyway? Their product may need it, but my body doesn't. The same goes for mannitol and sucralose. I made the mistake of putting one of these sublingual tablets in my mouth and it was an unpleasant experience to say the least (the artificial cherry flavor is horrible in my opinion). I requested a refund and got it thanks to Amazon. I did order a decent product on Amazon from Pure Encapsulations which offers sixty 1000 mcg capsules of Vitamin B-12 methylcobalamin with nothing more than hyper allergenic plant fibre (cellulose) in a vegetarian capsule. That's it. Thank you Pure Encapsulations. You live up to your name. And Kirkland, please wise up and realize that a certain percentage of consumers today avoid products that are made up of all kinds of extraneous contents, some of which are questionable as regards what being healthy can be.
