Healthy and actually tastes good too
By Abigail Adams on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2023
First of all, I do not drink any kind of "drinks," health drinks, energy drinks, carbonated drinks, sugary drinks, juice drinks......NONE of that. Ever. I am a dedicated coffee drinker all day every day. We have a well, and I drink our water. Having said that, I do not know why I decided to look in the cooler at the grocery store recently, but I did. Oh my at the variety of things to drink! I saw somebody buy a Bai beverage. I looked at the various flavors and saw that the coconut has a LOT of potassium; I read the ingredients, and nothing bad!!! And so...... well...... the rest is history. Yes, I bought it and drank it, and LOVED IT!!!! Now I am ordering it via Subscribe and Save!!! (Oh how the mighty have fallen!!) Sometimes I mix it with equal parts of orange juice or cranberry juice and water. This is the ONLY ever beverage I buy and drink. It has a gentle, real coconut flavor. Good and simple. Needless to say, I highly recommend it.

Another confirmed instance of Amazon-sold bottles being "watered down"
By Jay B on Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2022
I thought it was just me - until I started to read other reviews here. A couple of orders ago, the BAI Watermelon-flavor bottles that I was ordering from Amazon (by the case) started looking pale-orange, instead of the normal bright (watermelon) red. And, the flavor was weak, too. Watered down, not sharp & crisp. At first, I assumed that since the Bai brand had been acquired (from the founders) a year or two ago the parent company had started getting cheap, and the brand was going downhill. Then I came here to re-order to Amazon to reorder (anyway), and glanced at the reviews - and saw other people's photos with different-looking bottle contents, too. So I bought some from my local store (Market Basket), came home and compared. Bang. I could immediately see the difference between my store bought bottles and the remaining bottles I had from my last Amazon order. The store-bought was still that nice bright red and full of flavor. (Not that I *WANT* lots of extra red dye in my life; but the flavor was massively better in the store-bought). Photos attached. (It's the same 2 bottles, just with different lighting so you can be certain to see it.) I wondered if this had to do with expiration dates. But NO! The expiration date on the pale ones from Amazon was actually 30 days LATER than the store-bought ones (and both were in fall 2022). It's not like Amazon is selling old, expired bottles. So, IMO, either Amazon asking for, or Bai is unilaterally making, a diluted version of (at least) the Watermelon flavor that is being sold here, but not at retail. I'm headed to my store to buy this by the case. No more from Amazon until I start to see a bunch of reviews AFTER mine here that say "Things are back the way they should be." And, oh - BTW; it's not like I'm buying Bai from some cheap 3rd-party seller. The orders I'm referring to from Amazon are being sold & fulfilled directly by Amazon.
