Great Value good perfomance...
By Bill Whitescarver on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2015
LOVE IT! Best value I have found. Big enough so as not to lose it easily yet small enough to forget its there. Had to get used to reaching around back to control it and its unique modular charging method. Sometimes it shuts down with no warning. But at half the price of comparable units, no complaints here.

Swim, but Don't Breathe!
By SIGNTEACH on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2014
I was terribly excited about adding some pizzazz to swimming laps, so I started slowly with this low-end device to see if music in the water was even worthwhile. It happened that the first try was an evening workout on a clear night with a full moon on the rise, and I plunged into the water for a life-changing experience. My favorite tunes blared (not too loudly as I am a sign language interpreter, and I dearly understand the value of what is left of my hearing); the water rushed over me; the moon shone brightly; and I began my inspirational new way of swimming laps forever--until I turned my head to breathe. Each time I turned my head to breathe while swimming freestyle, the music stopped. When I submerged swimming breaststroke, the Bluetooth lost connection. If I perched the unit on my forehead and swam backstroke, I had moderate success, but I am a freestyler. What I ultimately did was water aerobics to the beat of my music. I couldn't even use the kick board because each end of the pool was apparently too far from my iPhone (NOT waterproof, but inside a Ziplock bag), so I kept losing the Bluetooth connection. If you are a casual swimmer and can keep your head nearly still while using this device, this might work for you. It does, indeed play whatever is on your Bluetooth enabled music player, and it is, in fact, waterproof, BUT if you are a lap swimmer or you need to move your head around for any other reason, this is a complete failure of a device. My next move will either be the waterproof iPod Shuffle or more likely, the highly recommended by virtually every swim and technical site, the Finis Neptune, the bone conduction waterproof MP3 player that does not require earbuds (no wrestling with the little suckers slipping out and causing water to fill the ears). Both devices are considerably more expensive than this Pyle of _____ , but you know what they say! you get what you pay for. Many thanks to Amazon for honoring its return policy. No hassles; no haggling. This was returned the next business day.
