Straightforward and fresh

This is a great toothpaste. It's the cleanest tasting peppermint I've found in a toothpaste. I don't generally like using gels because something feels counterproductive about putting something blue on your teeth to make them more white. I also like to steer clear of extra chemically enhanced toothpastes with sparkles and spots. This feels plain, straightforward, and fresh. I'm committed to it until they change the formula or I come across some expose saying I've been misled, which seems inevitable these days. For now, I stand by this toothpaste. As to the whitening properties, I drink too much coffee to make any reliable assessment. My teeth haven't gotten less white or more of any other color, at least. I've been using it for about two years consistently.

Contains SLS—not a “natural” toothpaste
By Katherine on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2019
I usually buy Dr. Bronner’s or Schmidt’s and prefer to keep my family’s toxin load as low as possible. I use Tom’s deodorant so I have some familiarity with the brand. I didn’t realize this had sodium lauryl sulfate in it until it arrived. SLS is useless in toothpaste except to make it foam so you feel like you’re getting clean. I don’t want to expose my family to it when it’s literally functionless. I guess this is better than Crest but I’m not buying it again.
