Great oil
By patricia baker on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2025
I love this oil. My hair is extremely dry so I put a few drops in my hair after I wash it and it works wonders. I also put a couple of drops in my hand at night before I go to bed and mix it with my night moisturizer and use it on my face. My skin is no longer dry and flaky. What is left I put it on my arms. I also make enough to use on my arms. It is a wonderful oil

Amazing Product, but Potential Scent Change Disappoints
By Mark M on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2025
I have been using this product for years. It has generally been the same, high-quality product each time I've purchase it. The last time I bought this (January 2025), it wasn't from Amazon; I picked one up at a major, brick-and-mortar retailer in the US. When I got around to opening it and using it a few weeks later, the scent profile was completely different. It was way more feminine (heavier on the sweeter-florals, less natural woodsy-nuttiness) and I just couldn't use it. In the meantime, I've been making do with some Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (regular, not "riche") and that's okay, but not the same for hair. (Full disclosure, I'm a cis / heterosexual male that appreciates scents and have a pretty good perfume collection to vouch for that. I've also reached out to OGX earlier this week March 3, 2025), but haven't heard back.) I'm going to buy this from Amazon (March 2025) and update based on whether the product has the new scent profile or old one and, if the old one, compare batch numbers for everyone. I hope it was just a fluke! **EDIT** (2025-03-09): Nope, this smells the same as what I purchased from my local store. Batches on both bottles are 1594M and 2914M. (There are six photos included with this review, three from each product purchased.) Welp, OGX got two final sales out of me, but I am not going to purchase a product I can't use. I'm no cosmetics executive, but I'm not sure why you'd want to slash your potential selling market in half.
