The Hair That Came Back (Or at Least Sent a Postcard)
By Quentin Birdwhistle on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2025
Gentlemen, gather round. Let me tell you a story. A story of loss, resilience, and tiny capsules of hope. Because there comes a time in a man’s life—somewhere between his third overdue oil change and his Google search history betraying an interest in ergonomic lawn chairs—when the hair begins to vanish. Not all at once. No. That would be too merciful. It’s a slow retreat, like French aristocrats before the revolution. One day your hairline is a proud cliff; the next, it’s been gently eroded into a meek suggestion of coastline. Enter Nutrafol. Four capsules a day. Four. A veritable handful of optimism. You take them religiously, like communion wafers for the follicularly forsaken. You swallow them with water, prayer, and the quiet hope that this—this—will be the thing that keeps your scalp from reflecting sunlight like a windshield. Week one: Nothing happens. Of course nothing happens. Your hair, like your teenage children, ignores you. Week two: Maybe… maybe there’s something. A fuzz. A whisper. Could be hair. Could be an illusion born of desperation. Week three: You’re patting your head in public now. People are noticing. They think you’re deep in thought, but you’re actually checking for sprouts. This is your life now. Week four: You catch your reflection in the microwave door and—my God—there’s a shadow where there used to be only forehead. It’s the ghost of sideburns past. It’s not quite thicker yet, but it’s… present. Like an intern. Quiet, but eager. Let’s be clear: Nutrafol isn’t a miracle. It won’t turn you into a lion-maned Norse god. But it might just help you look less like a tennis ball and more like a man who hasn’t given up. A man who dares to believe in regrowth. A man who, though staring down the barrel of middle age, refuses to go gently into that shiny dome. Five stars. One for each new follicle, and one for hope

Ridiculously unfair price for something that doesn’t provide significant results..
By Brain Plasticity on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2019
You'll probably have to take this for a year or more to see results so you'll probably end up paying around $1000. I quit taking this after 6 months because I saw no major improvements and there’s no way I'm going to keep wasting money like that! This product just works well for women I think. I'm able to at least maintain my hair by making lifestyle changes. If you're interested here's what I do: 1) For stress reduction - Meditation, yoga, and the Ray Peat Inspired diet/lifestyles 2) Nutrition deficiency - Best quality Eggs, Oysters, Liver (beef or Cod), brewers yeast(grown on beet molasses), Collagen Powder(or bone marrow), and Seaweed. More suggestions can be found in the Ray Peat Inspired diet. 3) Lifestyle - Be disciplined with your sleep quality, spend at least an hour every day to get morning sun exposure, practice celibacy (your semen takes a long time to get created, and it has a lot of powerful nutrients. Plenty of ancient spiritual texts talk about how constant ejaculation causes premature aging.) and cut out all addictions from your life. 4) For Scalp - microneedling (see youtube videos on how to use it on your scalp) and massage (ever wonder how come the balding area on the top is very hard to pinch, this is because your scalp has become tight. Hair grows well where the skin is loose. So you have to try to make the skin on the top pinchable via regular massage. I've been liking the growband by hairguard but they're also too unfairly priced... oh well, it's because they have no competition at this point...) So yeah, I suggest doing these things first properly before giving your money to this greedy company!
