THORNE Methyl-Guard Plus, 90 Capsules

I see some negative reviews, some of them stating the dosage is just too high. My doctor recommended taking this for my high homocysteine levels, but said to only take one capsule per day, not three. He basically agrees that the manufacturer's recommended dosage of three per day is too high. But I initially started taking two per day anyway, to get more TMG. But then I switched to one per day like my doctor suggested, plus an additional separate 1000 mg TMG. Even one per day might be a high dose if you don't specifically have a requirement. But since I do, one per day has been working well for me. My recent blood homocysteine blood level was improved. If even one per day is too high of a dose for you, you might consider the regular Thorne Methyl-Guard instead of the Plus. Basically, the Thorne products are really good but adjust dose per your personal needs. And like me, you could also add a TMG-only supplement if you want more of that specifically. Other people complain about pill size. I personally don't have a problem with larger pills as long as I swallow them with food. That works for me. Another complaint is the price. It's not cheap. But since I only take one per day, a bottle lasts me 90 days not 30. So that helps with the cost.
