Calmoseptine Ointment by Calmoseptine

I had a tube of this cream left over from the hospital & used it on my mom, who is bedridden. The stuff is amazing. It's very thick, and does an excellent job keeping dampness off the skin. I'm told that it is pain relieving & stops itchiness. I can see that it definitely remedies any redness. I advise wearing gloves when applying....the stuff is THICK and hard to wash off hands. If you are using bed pads or waterproof mattress covers, you will NEED a DISH SOAP to get it off in the wash. Powershot or regular dish liquid, just something that breaks down oil/grease. The cream has some sort of a grease/oil base and just throwing the items in the washing machine won't cut it. Calmoseptine brings my mom soooo much relief, i always make sure that I have at least 1 tube on hand. If you are caring for someone with bed sore issues, this is the best thing I've found!
