Good for keeping things dry and comfortable.

As someone who has typically used reusable cotton nursing pads, I purchased these disposable nursing pads for use on a several-week trip I was taking abroad. This is the second brand of disposable nursing pad that I have tried, and I have to say that I much prefer these. The ones I tried before were Medela, and I found that they weren't as comfortable or discreet as the Lansinoh pads. These pads are generally great; they are very absorbent and are good at keeping things feeling dry. The only issue I would say I have is that the adhesive is not the greatest, so after a few hours of use the pads can sometime come off of my bra and as a result the pad slides out of place. The worst is when the adhesive unsticks and then folds over on itself so that the pad is stuck to itself in a folded shape. That said, this is not an issue that is unique to the Lansinoh pads; I also had this happen with the Medela pads, and it seems like this is just an issue to expect with any disposable nursing pad. In general, I would recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable disposable nursing pad!

Too thin & flimsy. I don't have large breast but I feel that these pads my be better suited for women with small, less heavy breast and smaller nipples. Also, they seem make my nipples itch a bit. It may not be attributed to these nursing pads at all but I did not have this issue prior to the day I started using this brand. I do like that they are breathable and ample in surface area. Previously I had been using Johnson's (given to me as a baby shower gift) and Curad (provided to me in a take-home bag from the hospital) and had no issues with either. I really liked the Curad. I tried this brand because 1., I was running low on the Johnson's, 2., Wanted to try a new brand. Just seeing what's out there since i'm a first time mom:), and 3., Because I use and LOVE the lanolin nipple cream by this brand. I doubt that i'll order these again but I will use what I have left as a second option/backup.
