Dreft Stage 1: Newborn Laundry Detergent

We started using Dreft for the baby… and now the entire family is hooked. I’m not sure what they put in this stuff—angel tears? freshly laundered unicorns?—but our laundry smells like a warm hug from a baby bunny wearing a cloud. At first, my husband rolled his eyes. “This is baby detergent,” he said. Two loads later, he’s sniffing his T-shirts like they’re scratch-and-sniff stickers. I caught him folding towels and whispering, “So soft…” like some sort of fabric cult leader.
