I am perfectly satisfied with the cost, quality, and prompt delivery of these Zip Ties. I'm using them to secure a 30" flatiron planter to the railing of my wrought iron balcony. Knowing that the (included) brackets would be too wide for my 2" railing, I included my request for the Alta-1 Cable Zip Ties when I ordered the planter. The completed assembly feels immobile and quite secure.

About half of them break when installing. Maybe a bad batch?

I use zip ties maybe a couple times a month. I've used maybe 30-40 of these ties and about half of them break where the end feeds through the hole as I'm installing. Those that don't break seem to hold fine. If you order these test maybe 10 of them when you get them to make sure they aren't going to break on you when you need them.
