Osage River Gun Range Bag

I had just finished packing up my gear in this bag, and was zipping the various compartments closed, when one of the zipper pulls snapped in two. If you look at that broken zipper pull in my photo you'll see it's made of very very thin metal at the points where it broke. That suggests to me that any or all of the 10 other zipper pulls on the bag are likely to break under normal use. (Replacing one zipper pull isn't a huge deal -- but 11 of them? To compensate for a poor quality choice by the designer?) On closer inspection, I noted an area on the bottom of the bag where the stitching wasn't well done. I took a picture of that spot. (It looks worse in person though.) I'm not sure how far the separation of that seam extends inside the bottom of the bag, but -- after the zipper pull incident -- my tolerance for poor quality stitching is ZERO. Aside from the quality issues, it's an OK design. It's really smaller than I had expected. I had checked the measurements carefully before buying, but didn't realize how much of the size dimensions came from the extra compartments that are appended to the bag at either end. The main compartment in the center is quite small. I like certain features, like the many slots on either side. I appreciate that they're full length "pockets" and not just straps. That works a lot better for my application. IF this bag was made of good quality hardware, and IF this bag was stitched with attention to quality, and IF this bag was just a little bigger in the MAIN compartment, then: I'd be happy to keep it. But since it's a shoddily stitched together bag with one broken zipper (so far), it's going back.
