This is a very good cheap entry level mouse. If you're short on cash or trying to save money, this is a good mouse to use for every day computer use as well as gaming. I've since upgraded to a Razer DeathAdder Elite, but this mouse is still very good. I used to play Battlefield 4 on it and never had any problems. It definitely isn't as good as my current DeathAdder, but it got the job done. I gave it to my wife to use on her computer in the bedroom since she was complaining about her wireless mouse not working very well. She loves it and hasn't complained again since I installed this one on her computer. It's nice and light and feels like decent quality even at this price. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it works. I give it 5 stars for what it's meant to be, a low cost, serviceable mouse that will last a while.

Synapse software is problematic

Mac OS X Sierra 10.12.5 - Razer Synapse software does not recognize the mouse as being connected, so unable to customize buttons, settings, etc. Uninstalled software and ran through all troubleshooting, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc. --still no dice. I used to have a Razer Pro|Click way back in the day --that one failed, so I vowed to never buy Razer again. Had a change of heart and decided to give them a 2nd chance. Burned once again. Glad I didn't opt for a more expensive model. Having said that, it works fine as a plug-n-play mouse, albeit a slightly expensive one when compared to other "no frills" mice available at a fraction of the cost. The contours of the mouse fit nicely in my hand, but I'd say it's a little underweight --I find I inadvertantly lift it off the mousepad too frequently. Debating on whether or not to keep it or return…
