Best bang for your buck multi-feature Monitor
By John M on Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2019
This is a great monitor that's relatively modern, I think the design is only 2 or 3 years old, so unless you have to have something that is released this year, then get this monitor. After doing my research and knowing what I wanted, I realized this monitor basically checked off all the boxes and has a great price. It's not the very best monitor out there, but considering at 23.8 inches it's basically a 24 inch LCD screen which has built in speakers, a webcam and mic, plus an adjustable height and tilt/swivel stand, it's really outstanding to get this many features for under $200. HP is also an excellently reliable brand. The 1080 HD pixilation is great, and at this screen size, doesn't come across as too blurry. The speakers could be better, it's the one thing I noticed could be better, but it does it's job. You can use this monitor for so many different things, webcam conference calls, skype, business or school, or hell just to watch movies on Netflix/Amazon/YouTube.

Defective and a huge hassle
By Book Worm on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2018
I connected this monitor to two different laptops, both via USB and HDMI. The monitor would not communicate with either of the laptops and I kept getting an error before it went into sleep mode. After trying to get it to work for over an hour (checking HP support community, multiple resets, using different cables, etc.), I contacted Amazon tech support, which is one of the options offered when you go to return the product. They told me it sounded like the monitor ports are defective. I wanted an exchange and even though this seller is still offering these monitors now, Amazon said that replacement is not an option and I could only get a refund. But they also suggested I contact HP directly, in case they can offer a replacement under the warranty. So then I was on a chat with an HP rep for over 30 minutes, sent him a pic of the serial number and my invoice. HP said they would replace it and initiated the order. Two days later, I was again asked for a pic of the serial number and invoice, which I sent again. HP then told me that because Woot is the seller, not Amazon, the warranty is void and they couldn't replace it after all. So after a week of going back and forth with Amazon and HP, I initiated the return for refund. And that's ridiculous, in my opinion, because if the monitors are available from the same seller right now, it should just have been replaced. Huge waste of time and I'm still without a monitor.
