12-Amp 20-Inch Corded Lawn Mower

Alright, so the package arrived on the day Amazon said it would arrive (I so love Amazon for that!). The lawnmower was very well packaged and true to the description, very little assembly required. All I had to do was insert the two screws in to the metal handle and attach the green knobs to them. Then it was plug it in to my orange extension cord and I was good to go. Starting this lawn mower is so easy that even a child can start it. It cuts grass alright but I had to pass over it like two or three times. I wish it had more power (where are Phineas and Ferb when you need them?...lol) or sort of like the poof on You Tube where the guy started his electric lawn mower and was dragged out of his yard and in to the street...lol. The lever at the side that controls the height adjustment is very hard to pull. On the video the gal did it with such ease...anyway, my lever was set on the lowest level for cutting so it was down to the ground. I was so hoping this would take care of my weeds...but to no avail so it is back to using the weed wacker. Yup, I used a weed wacker to cut my lawn and although it gave me great looking arms, it took too darn long! The cord holder doesn't work very well, unless you duck tape that sucker! and the black flap in the back of the mower is absolutely annoying! My mower chewed up most of it so whatever it was put there to do it won't be doing it on my lawn mower. Tie it up or do like what I did and cut it off.(there goes my returning to Amazon...lol) My yard is a mixture of dirt, weeds and some grass (in certain areas). When I was done mowing, I had so much dirt under the mower that I could have built a sand castle. Was it worth the $164.98 + tax...I don't think so. But at least I am not using a gas mower so I will just make do with what I have. The noise level is minimal...not bad at all.
