FitDesk v3.0 Desk Bike + Extension Kit

Thought I would post some of my own early observations. This is an inexpensive piece of exercise equipment. I set it up yesterday in my office at work. I am somewhat handy and the setup was not a challenge using the tools provided by the manufacturer. I used the FitDesk for 30m yesterday after setup. I found the seat perfectly comfortable. I am an avid cyclist, though and am used to the seats you might find on a road bike. The angle of the pedals to the seat is somewhere between a recumbent bike and normal bike. If you lean against the back pad, again no problem for me, it is more like a recumbent. If you lean forward with your elbows on the properly adjusted handlebars, which I find comfortable for typing on my 15" laptop, it can be more like a road bike. I am 5'9" and 175 lbs with a 31" inseam. This bike will get me out of my chair to be exercising every day. I will change positions on the bike from leaning on the back pad to leaning forward and placing my elbows on the handlebar pads, which seem to be padded for this purpose. Just like a bike adjustment of the components for the best fit is key to the effectiveness of the equipment. I will update my comments if I discover anything problematic with the FitDesk. I am currently very pleased with it and look forward to using it several times throughout the day to oxygenate the blood and maintain strength in my cycling legs.
