These are a crowd pleaser

Let me say first, I don't eat chocolate. Well, to be fair, only a little bit. Chocolate chip cookies, Peanut M&Ms, fun size Snickers, and the greatest creation in the history of food, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (which must have a secret ingredient because its is impossible to resist), are about it for me. But..... wait for it..... Ferrero Rocher is an item that, hands down, is a guaranteed smile. The packaging is very pleasing to the eye and very gift like. The portion size pieces are perfect. The colorful foil delights the ones who opens it. Of course, as I have been told, the product is delicious and exceeds the presentation. The beautiful thing about the 12 and 24 packs are that they are a very affordable way to bring a smile to someones day. For just a few dollars, you get a delivery truck to their door, they get a "mystery box", the suspense heightens, they open it, and take out this beautiful and shiny box of chocolates. Then the best part, they eat it, they love it, and they smile. You have just turned someone's frown upside down. You probably sent it to cheer them up. What you did was completely change their mood, and the rest of their day. Whatever was bothering them, just got a little easier to deal with. Its because you also took advantage of the gift option to write a short personal note, which is free, and you said, "I was thinking of you", or "I love you", or "I am sorry for your pain". You have the power for just around $6 to $10, to make a difference in someone's day. A small price to pay for the rich dividend it brings. It won't bring world peace, but if you can just win one heart, get one smile, share one joyful or empathetic tear with someone you love, or someone that need your love, you have started a trend that will cause others to see how little effort it takes to make a difference. Pick someone you know that needs to be loved, or pick two and send the 12 packs instead of 24. 12 pack of chocolates, about $6. 24 pack, about $11. Making a difference to someone who needs your love, PRICELESS!! I am Spartacus, and I approved this message.

Good chocolate, Horrible wrappers.

The chocolates themselves are good. However, as some other reviews have noted, trying to get them out of their wrappers is an exercise in frustration. You've heard of child-proof packaging... well, these are adult-proof. This is difficult to explain but it's like they took 2 separate wrappers and glued them together completely around the chocolate. And I mean glued good and solid. As a result, you have to pull the two wrappers apart with a lot of force... which leads to, at best, the outer bits of the chocolates (which aren't well adhered) flying all over the place or, at worst, the entire piece going flying. Seriously, I am not exaggerating. First, I have outstanding finger dexterity... as in playing the piano level of dexterity. And second, this happened to every single person who tried one and it happened on every single piece. Everyone was complaining about how ridiculous and annoying it was. As such, I definitely would not recommend these as a gift unless it's for someone you don't like and want to see them experience a hair pulling level of frustration. Even for yourself, only buy if you're willing to carefully eat these over a large bowl to catch all the little bits that go flying as you try to extract each chocolate from its torturous wrapper!
