Outstanding rod and well worth the ;price

I have been fly fishing for 30 plus years and guiding for the last 12. This rod is super for the price. If I found this rod in a retail store I'd expect to pay well over $100 for it. It is a fast rod, a real rocket launcher as far as casting. It comes with an extra tip section. The workmanship is outstanding and the overall appearance is first rate. It's too bad the company can't back the rod with a lifetime guarantee like the some of the major rod companies do but, at the selling price, the rod is less expensive than the charge that most rod companies charge for rod repair. I'd have no problem fishing this rod and wouldn't feel undergunned when fishing with friends using Sages and Winstons.

Looks nice, breaks easily

I ordered this fly rod amid mixed reviews. One reviewer reported that the tip broke soon after receiving it. I thought it was probably just a fluke as there were mostly good reviews. I used this rod for one day paired with an Orvis reel loaded with 5 wt line. the action was nice and I was happy. Then the tip broke as was I casting. This was after one day of light use from my Kayak. I will attempt to return for a refund. I would not recommend this product.
