ECOVACS DEEBOT N78 Robot Vacuum Cleaner

There are few things that you may need to know: the robot can absolutely not replace your broom or your mop for any heavy duty dirt, but will work perfectly well if all you need is a "daily maintenance" for a normal cleanliness of your households. It will also work perfectly well if your home style is kind of a minimalism design (not full of furniture or with much decorative figures) since the robot will need enough space for it "to do its job". I have read many reviews of this ECOVACS vacuum before buying, and I really had my doubts with its "self programming" option and the mopping system, but after using it I have found out that it is not as many have thought, because the only issue is that you have to do the FIRST daily programming once, then the other day the robot will do its job automatically at the same time (it does not require you to press the botton for the daily cleaning EVERYTIME you need it to do the job). The mopping system works quite well for me too since I hate mopping by myself, the only issue is that you have to refill the water every 30min (maybe?). In my case, it does not bother me at all and it does the job well if you only have minor/lite stains on the floor. The other wonderful thing of this robot is that it is not loud at all and have a very long battery life (it kept working for 2hours and still on...I just had to turn it off since it'd already finished its job), not to say that it also come with extra accessories so you have backup if anything breaks before you need it (and you can always buy for more on Amazon.com). I'm kinda an allergic person, but the dust bin is very practical and easy to take out and to clean (thumbs up for that!) and the size can also hold a lot of dust/debris so you do not need to clean it every time (at least your house is really dirty). I was also kinda worried by the reviews of other customers ref the issue with the robot returning to its dock, but it's working fine so far. Of course, if your house is very big and the robot is kinda far away from its dock, it may encounter problem returning to it by itself (it is good to follow the instruction of the manual). In my case, I do not bother if (sometimes) I have to put it back to its dock manually. Also, I was a bit worried with what many called a "weird/random cleaning pattern", but believe me, maybe this robot will take a longer time to finish its job, but remember the battery life will not let this to be a problem (at least you need it to be done with its cleaning in 10min (like always?)...or at least, it has not been a problem for me. Respecting the infrared sensor, i found it working quite well with everything that is white color. It can even recognized a cleared bottle of water on the floor. However, with dark color furniture or things, it will normally bump against it but never too hard. If your expectations and requirements/needs are high, then you may have to consider buying a more expensive robotic vacuum, but for this price, I'm totally happy with my ECOVACS DEEBOT N78.
