Great cam for the price
By J. Owings on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2018
So far I love this dashcam. I bought one for myself and my wife to protect us in case of road rage, accidents, pedestrians and other things. I did buy a bigger memory card for them so that i could enable the parking services and have a bigger space for event logging. Don't particularly like that it tells you where 'cameras' are since you can't shut that off but you can mute that feature. GPS and speed seem pretty accurate and i like the easy access 'event' button and 'camera snapshot' button. I haven't checked to see if it is actually performing the parking event logging so i can't say if that's working. I will say the other advanced features don't seem to either work that well (Forward Collision Warning and Lane Assist are the two i tried) or i just don't know how to use them. My car already has both those features so it's not a great loss to me. It was easy to install the cam and the cord was long enough that i could run the wire across the top of my windshield, down the side, under the glove box and to the power socket below. Overall i think for the price this is a great dashcam and i would recommend it to others.

The damn thing won't stay mounted
By Connor on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2018
I really want to give this product 5 stars because for the most part, it does its job well. It records both video and audio clearly and is fairly easy to configure. Settings and that sort of thing are all pretty intuitive and I had no issues setting it up or accessing my footage. However, within 2 weeks after mounting the dashcam, it just started falling off the mount like crazy. The first time seriously freaked me out since it just came crashing down and banged against a plastic part of my car while I was in the middle of driving. To clarify: I have mounted the camera correctly, exactly according to instructions. The suctioned part stays on perfectly fine, but the part where you actually slide and adjust the camera to the holding apparatus is where it keeps falling off. -I initially thought this may have been a product of the elements expanding and becoming loose due to extreme heat (110+ where I live during the summer), but it fell just the same in 60 degree (Fahrenheit) weather. -The camera falling also doesn't seem to be affected by the speed at which I'm driving. It's fallen off at speeds over 60 MPH on the highway, and has fallen off at speeds around 20 MPH or below when driving in a neighborhood or school zone. -It falls literally every single day I drive at least once, often twice. -I've tried remounting it to no avail. The only way to keep the thing on is to adjust it at a really awkward angle so that gravity won't pull it down as much (but then you can't really capture the road well). I honestly feel like this dashcam will jeopardize my safety and CAUSE me to get into an accident because of the constant falling and crashing, rather than protect me and my insurance in the event of a collision. How ironic!
