Great travel tumblers I have been using them for many years and will keep using them as the leak proof function is wonderful so I don't have to worry about spilling anywhere I go.

excellent insulation, easy clean, good shape and size, shiny, leak proof... until dropped!

Works just as described: keeps my morning coffee hotter longer (I have to let it cool before closing and sipping, unlike takeout) but exterior remains cool to the touch, doesn't leak (I throw sideways into my purse and take it on the train), clicks open easily for cleaning, good capacity, comfortable to hold (no handedness issue for lefties: holler) and fits in a cup-holder. I love the color and sheen! It's been on my wishlist for a while: only wish I'd splurged sooner! I like my oxo good grips too, but this one is better. The oxo has just one seal with a spring-loaded plunger and silicone gasket in the lid that's either open or closed (with that inaccessible internal channel for cleaning). It clicks when you toggle (think resonant ballpoint pen clicking level noisy in a work meeting or Sunday morning sermon). Whereas the contigo has a secondary safety lock that clicks (a light plastic snap) when you toggle it, but even when that's unlocked, you have to actively depress the open/release-to-drink button to dispense the liquid from the mouthpiece (better no spill design) and that active release is silent. I've also had the plunger sheer off of an oxo lid that was knocked off the counter, ruining the whole unit, whereas there doesn't appear to be a similar design vulnerability with the contigo. Update 11/2018 (3 months): 1. The finishing paint is wearing off in a ring around the base especially. Not that big of a deal. 2. Dropped once from three feet and no longer a leak-proof seal between the unit and the lid. Before, I could close and shake to mix my cream and sugar. Now it dribbles coffee especially near the release button if inverted. Kind of a big deal! Not covered under the lifetime warranty as manufacture defect or normal wear/tear. Debating whether it's worth replacing if this vulnerable. PS: By the time their poky customer service got back to me, I'd bought myself and promptly fallen madly in love with a ridiculously superior Zojirushi and I'm never looking back!!!
