Love, love, love it!

Love, love, love it! It was pretty much ready to go out of the box. Very minimal assembly was required (basically putting the "feet" and pads on the bottom which helps make it non-skid and cutting the zip ties that kept it together during shipping) Everything was included so no extra tools required. It is the perfect width for both of my 21" monitors side by side. Very roomy desk top and I like the dropped shelf for the keyboard and mouse. It even has a small indented area (a little bigger than my phone) in the center, front that you can put things in that you may not want to roll around on the desktop. I was starting to have a lot of problems with my sciatica and lower back pain from sitting so much at work. What a huge difference this has made! It's such a relief to be able to stand and work! It's a little bit of a challenge for me to raise up but I think it's because I'm only 5'2" and it's a pretty wide reach for me to suppress the handles on both sides to raise up but nothing I can't handle. Dropping it down is quite easy, thanks to the hydraulics. This one is also MUCH cheaper than lot of the other sit/stand desks out there but in my opinion, it is very high quality! I'm very satisfied!

Good quality but heavy and not easy for lower back pain sufferers!
By Teresa on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2017
*Updated review- I was not able to use it for full functionality as I would have liked. For the last two years I have had lower back pain at times pretty significant. I can't even lift it on my own. Maybe if I were over 5"4 and without back problems. I feel like the lift handles are misplaced which puts a lot of the weight towards the back of the desk and forces you to utilize your lower back which defeats the purpose of having it, if you are trying to ease some of the pain from sitting all day. If the handles were towards the front or it had a foot lift of some sort perhaps it would have been helpful. I'm going to have to get rid of it unfortunately. I was able to lift it with my son's help a couple of times but that's about it. Its also quite heavy. I have a 17 inch monitor and a laptop w/docking station, it fit good with a little room to spare but not enough flat surface for a 8x11 notebook. Key board area is just enough for that and a mouse. It was easy to assemble, received in good condition. It's pretty sturdy but on the heavy side, none of my equipment wobbled. The height when lifted and lowered is perfect. In terms of the ease of lifting it, it's not easy even by adjusting the tension, at least not for me. If you turn it counter-clockwise to ease the load to lift it, it makes it harder to lower and vice versa if you increase it. That's were my primary concern is...I have lower disc degeneration due to inflammatory arthritis. The day I set it up was a good day; I can see how trying to lift it on a day where my pain is say 3-4 will be very difficult as it was painful to lift due to weight on the good day. I wish that the lift handles were closer to the front or something near the middle as the location of the handles near the rear makes it harder for those with back problems. However in terms of cost for an alternative to sitting all day, it was a good deal.
