L.A. Girl Matte Pigment Lipgloss, Bazaar

I heard about LA Girl cosmetics from Makeup Artists, bloggers etc on you tube. So I went to the site and purchased several of these matte lipsticks. These lipstick can be drying, so you definitely should use a chap stick or something to prep your lips prior to using the product. This will help to eliminate the dryness, chapping, and peeling. My favorite shade was stunner, and I wore it faithfully, receiving so many compliments... Long story short I lost the shade, so instead of going back to the LA Girl cosmetics site to purchase, I came to Amazon instead. BIG MISTAKE. When I received this product from Amazon the plastic protective seal was not attached. This indicated to me that it had been used, or at least open, which does not make sense being that it is a brand new product. The vendor was nice about sending me another as I asked for one with the seal intact. I received it today and now this time it has half of the seal attached. Very disappointing. I decided the compare the amazon lipstick with the others that I had bought directly from LA Girl, and noticed a few things.. The lipstick from the vendor smells horrible of some kind of chemical, there is no smell. or at least not as bad from the lipstick directly from the manufacturer. Also the tube does not feel the same when you open the lipstick and place back into the tube. By that I mean the stick part of it does not gracefully insert back into the tube, if that makes sense. Lastly when I apply this product it is way more drying, and thinner than the manufactured version. Very hard to get off! Yes it is a matte product but again I have several from the manufacturer and yet it takes way more to get off. I am almost convinced this is not the same product, or that it was messed with somehow. I would recommend going directly to LA Girl Cosmetics to purchase this product. Believe it or not the product is actually cheaper on the LA Girl site than on Amazon anyway. Big waste of time and money.
