I have 4 crossbows and this one is the most accurate by far. It is also light, easy to maintain with an uncomplicated recurve design. Even though it has a 200lb pull it is easy to cock with a string cocker and it shots over 300 fps with an 18" flathead bolt. Since the GRZ 2 has a manual safety and no dry fire protection, it may not be a good choice for a young or inexperienced shooter. I prefer this arrangement for simplicity and the ability to decock the crossbow without shooting an arrow. I purchased a stringing aid and removed the string with no problem. This is a great feature of the Excalibur recurve bows. I highly recommend this crossbow for hunters or target shooters like myself.
