Redragon K556 RGB LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
By Idacio on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2025
The Redragon K556 is a fantastic mechanical keyboard for both gaming and typing. The 104-key layout with hot-swap capability makes customization easy, while the soft tactile brown switches provide a satisfying, quiet typing experience. The sturdy aluminum base and noise-absorbing foam keep the keyboard solid and stable, even during intense sessions. The RGB backlighting looks great and adds a stylish touch without being overwhelming. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a durable, responsive, and customizable gaming keyboard.

Horrible battery life
By ref-to-4 on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2025
I bought this keyboard not for gaming but because I was tired of flat keys and not feeling where I was typing. I’m an old school typist and type by feel of the raised indents on the home keys. The keys are also slightly curved so my fingers stay in place. Since purchasing I have been much more accurate which is great since I am an analyst and work on the computer all day long. But that’s the downside - I use the keyboard all day long and battery life is horrible. After 2 full days of work, I’m having to charge the keyboard. What’s the point of having wireless if I have to plug it in all the time? I think I changed the batteries in my old keyboard that took 2AAs once in a year. I changed the lighting to be solid and I still in 2.5 days I had to charge it. I can’t not have lights on because I can’t see the letters otherwise. Other than the battery life, the keys feel great, a little more clicking than I like but it’s bearable. I wish they were quieter. Overall it’s still better than the generic wireless keyboard that I had.
