Whoa! Hot water in no time
By kitti/Ron on Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2025
Great for Camper or Home. Super fast HOT water. Takes up little space on counter with adjustable cord storage in base of hot plate. Easy water level window on side. We like the safety features. Turns itself off when water is ready so won't boil dry. WARNING: Stainless steel is very hot to touch. (No need to touch to see if water is hot when lighted switch clicks off...won't do THAT again. lol)

It's the little things. Spend the extra $10 and get the Hamilton Beach one.
By Miguel A. on Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2025
Coming from the 1L Hamilton Beach model, this is a slight downgrade. As mentioned in my title, it's the little things. OK, both are likely Made in China, but the H.B. one is a better design. For one, this one feels not as durable. The H.B. one, there was a positive, solid feedback, placing the kettle back onto the base. This one gives no feedback, but yeah, it's on there. Then, the lid does not open a full 90 degrees, whereas the H.B., popped right up to a 90-degree angle for ease of filling. Speaking of, this one feels like it doesn't have a powerful lid spring. I was miffed at H.B. for increasing the price of their 1L model so much. I remember buying that one in 2020 for $12, and now it's almost 3x the price. However, one time using this Amazon one, and I wish I spent the extra $10 on the older, better H.B. one. I'm sure I'll get used to this one and use it for a couple of years but I'll be thinking about my old kettle fondly. Oh yeah, that one started leaking btw, hence buying this one.
