High price, high quality, lovely aesthetic.

This mouse pad is very nice but definitely for those who need something high quality. The mouse pad is made of hard plastic and aluminum. The top of the pad easily comes off with the help of a hole in the back of the base, however it fits very cleanly inside the base so it never moves around even when you use it. The CONTROL side has a little more texture but never feels like you have to drag your mouse just to move it, the SPEED side is a lot smoother. I've yet to be able to pick a "favorite" side and end up switching back and forth between both depending on my mood. The pad itself is a bit heavy due to the aluminum base, but it's not so heavy you can never move it again. The base has padding to keep the pad in place even when you are furiously moving your mouse and it works very well. Without me picking up the mouse pad and moving it, it has yet to move on its own just from me moving my mouse. With all this said, this is still a good mouse pad but it's a bit overkill if you're not looking for a heavy duty mouse pad. The aesthetics are nice ― especially if you have any other piece in Razer's mercury white collection ― but you can find another mouse pad to do what you need that isn't around $60. But if you're looking for a high quality, aesthetically pleasing, hard mouse pad that will last you forever then I can't recommend this enough. I love this mouse pad and it's definitely a good purchase that I would recommend to others who are seriously into gaming or computers.

I love Razer products, but this one did not meet my expectation

I am a Razer fan, I have the Razer blade pro, the blackwidow elite, and mamba wireless. But this one, it gets dirty very easily, I wipe the surface with alcohol pads everyday, sometimes even twice a day. The mouse pad would still slowly gets dirty, overtime some spots would turn gray-ish. Probably because I bought the white one, but I still thinks it should last longer and better considering the price. Whats even worse is that, the underneath, where between the pad and the metal base, would get moldy, if somehow you got even tiny bit of water on the mouse pad. It feels good when you use it, but overall im quite disappointed by the long term quality.
