it’s a handy little tool

The price point for this ultrasonic cleaner was reasonable, and it does a decent job on everyday items like glasses, rings, and watches. I’ve used it on a few pieces of jewelry and my reading glasses, and while it doesn’t give that professional jeweler-level shine, it definitely improves the appearance and removes built-up grime. One thing I noticed is that using the included basket seems to lessen the cleaning power. After a few uses, I stopped using the basket entirely and just placed items directly in the tank (carefully), which noticeably improved the results. We also picked up a mild jewelry cleaning solution to mix with the water, which helped enhance the sparkle. Overall, it works as advertised and is useful for regular home maintenance of small accessories. Just be aware of the limitations—it’s not a substitute for professional ultrasonic equipment, but for the price, it’s a handy little tool.

Not worth it

Not worth it for jewelry and eyeglasses. Purchased for jewelry because I have a lot of items. Not only did it not work well, but I had to use tarnish removing cloths and other cleaning products to clean them again afterwards so it was a lot of work for nothing since I had to do small batches. Shortly after I used it to clean basically all my jewelry that wouldn’t get damaged (like certain gemstones), everything I put in there to clean started tarnishing much faster than it used to, almost as if the coating on the metals were removed. I used it for fine and fashion jewelry with silver gold or gold plated, along with whatever other compositions jewelry gets made with. So now I have to clean my jewelry every month when it used to be closer to every three months. Used water only, so maybe I need the solution but according to the manual water should work fine. My glasses were just as dirty coming out so I’ll keep using my sleeve I guess
