Great picture and value, somewhat difficult installation due to lack of lens shift

This projector was my first foray into a home theater hobby, my family watches movies often and we had the space for a 135" projector screen. I really wanted to have 4K capability but also since it was my first projector wanted an entry level projector. I looked at this vs. the BenQ TK800, Viewsonic PX747, and the Epson UHD50. They all have different pros and minuses, I finally just had to bite the bullet since I did not have any option to view them in person where I live. I am really satisfied with the picture quality, the lack of a horizontal or vertical lens shift can make the installation very finicky, but I felt like there was a lot of lens zoom for the space we had. I used projectorcentral.com to estimate the throw distance and it worked great for my theater. I paired it with a Silver Ticket 135" screen and we are loving it! Good value for an entry level projector that I do not think I will need to upgrade for quite a few years.

Stunning Picture with Very LOUD FAN!

I was so excited to get this projector mounted and start viewing. This projector was purchased to replace my Viewsonic 1080p that I enjoyed for years. Immediately impressed and blown away by the picture quality; crisp, bright, and in my opinion it handled dark scenes well. It was almost love. Almost! While enjoying my first 4k movie on the big screen, I kept getting distracted by the cooling fan. The fan is loud and there is an accompanying buzzing that is awful. I stuck with it thinking I'll forget about it. After 3 weeks, 3 movies, and a ton of football I have boxed it up and returned it. Old projector is back up. Back to the drawing board. In short, if this projector will be within 6 feet of your head the cooling system will be very loud. Great picture! Horribly loud.
