It's off by 1 degree or less, but still does a great job for my needs (yogurt, kefir, pasturizing eggs, proofing dough 'n way much more) even though it suffered a nasty drop & display was broken, I mended it back together & it still won't ouit & considering some reviews, I got lucky! ....Also @ $40 & 4 yrs. n still goin' @ 1100 watts! I know folks w/louder 750w Anova's that died at 2yrs or so and @ $125 bucks & my Suovia's so quiet u think it's not on! & the base is wide enough to stand alone undisturbed (if u got kids use the clip) wich means it's heating bottom up so water min level is easy to maintain & electonics are way up top / 2023 update, it finaly died n went to sous vide heaven - not bad for under 40 smackarous!

I've had this thing for a month and its already giving me problems. Actually it started turning off after 2 weeks. I love to cook barbacoa its usually at 90° celcius for 18hrs+ my anova lasted 2yrs before going bad. This machine seemed like a good investment. It heats up and turns off within 2hrs. Very dissatisfied with it. If zero stars were an option I would.
