I am really impressed!

So I initially purchased the germ guardian tower air purifiers as I like the features that they had and they were reasonably priced. The reason I sent them back is they were really loud. I wear hearing aids and there was a lot of noise in the large living room areas in which I had two of them. Ironically I have the germ guardian ones for the bedroom the small ones and they make a fantastic white noise machine. But I sent the big ones back and I purchased these instead. The biggest reason I did it was because of the noise level. The second reason I did it is because it overturn the air much more than the germ guardian one did. I like the fact that the filters are extremely cheap and there isn’t any cleaning that you have to do to them. Plus the generic filters are extremely reasonable to replace every six months. I have a dog in my house and she tends to make the house smell like a dog. With these air filters I am extremely pleased with how the house smells. You would not know that you had a dog at my house anymore. The interesting part is this filter also has an ionizer built into it. I remember back in the 90s they advocated these filters that basically use these metal blades that would capture dust in the air and ionize it. But I always remember they would give me headaches. What’s nice about the future of this one is I can periodically turn it on if I’m doing something that requires a quicker deodorizing than just relying on the air filter to clean the air which I think is awesome. I don’t plan on using it full-time but it’s nice to have the option if I really have to blast some smells out. For the price he can’t beat it I’m excited to see how these deal in the long term! Update: so my particular sensor went nuts!! Like 300-400! I should be dead lol! It’s so easy to clean the sensor with out doing anything to take apart. Just use a hand held air blower in all three holes. Worked like a charm !!!!

Was so Excited about this Air Purifier but Ended up Disappointed
By Emma on Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2019
I have terrible allergies and live in an apartment that is somewhat on the older side. Air purifiers are a necessity for me to be able to get through the spring, summer, and fall with as few allergy symptoms as possible. I tend to be picky about which one I choose to buy so that I get the best value for the money being spent. I was drawn to this Airthereal purifier because of the multi-system cleaning process and HEPA filter and its overall size. While having a powerful purifier is great, I don't want a giant eyesore in the room either. This one was a great size for my apartment and also wasn't heavy to move around. Initial set up of the purifier was a snap and within seconds it was whirring away and cleaning my air. The PM2 feature was nice to have. For the first month of operation and running it on the low or medium setting daily, I had absolutely no problems. It produced just enough sound to be a helpful white noise to drown out sounds from the other apartments around me at night. However, just as I was starting to enjoy this purifier, I noticed the noise level was steadily increasing by the passing days. Thinking maybe the filter needed to be cleaned, I removed the outer covering and found the entire inside of the purifier as well as the surface around the filter was covered in a white dust. I took a damp cloth to clean the dust off and started the purifier again. With my allergies, I keep my apartment very neat and clean, and it was strange that just a month in, the purifier was already dirty. After that, the noise level dropped somewhat, but by Christmas it was so loud you could practically hear it from the outside of my building. The insides around the filter were once again covered in the same white dust not even a month after I had cleaned them. I could find nothing in the instructions to explain why this dust kept collecting inside the purifier and by this point, I did not want to be in a position of having to clean it every week nor dealing with the loud noises. I've had several other air purifiers before this one and not experienced a white dust issue with any of them or had to result to weekly cleanings of the interior sections around the filter. I'll be shopping around for another air purifier that doesn't have these issues.
