Great Quite fan

I love the quietness of the fan. Most fans only have about four speeds, but this has 12 different speed levels, which is great! So far, I am satisfied with the purchase. The price point is high, but it is worth the cost for the level of clear air and the different functions.

Good Fan - Lousy Controls

Pros - Fan can blow very hard or very soft. - Fan is very quiet at low speeds, has 9 speed settings Cons - Controls are on fan base, very inconvenient to reach (think down on your hands and knees) and finicky buttons can take several tries to activate. - Remote Control has limited range (6-8 feet?) and must have direct line of sight to receiver on base. - Remote Control line of sight must not be at too much of an angle above base receiver (30 degrees?) - Remote Control may not work at all from your bed (see above) Nits - Cord is fairly short (6 feet) - When doing horizontal oscillate, stops for one second at end of right travel, two seconds at end of left travel. Can be noticeable and irritating. - fan is fairly short/low - center is about 32.5 in from floor
