Skin brightener—part of my routine
By kristi T on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2024
Previously recommended to me by skin care provider to help with fine lines and dark spots. Used regularly as part of my routine. With using every second to third night as part of my regimen, my last bottle lasted two years as only a small amount is needed per application. This is my second bottle of skin brighter, so obviously, I would highly recommend to others.

Beware of product!!!!
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2023
I want to start by saying, I have been using Zo skin products for a little while now, and I have used retinol products before, neither of which have ever caused me to have a serious reaction. I purchased this product because I love Zo skin as a skincare line, and the reviews on this were mostly positive. Needless to say, I was very excited when I received my bottle. I tried this the first time and I’ve attached pictures of the result…..It BURNED my skin. This product caused such a severe reaction that I had to take 2 days off work! A little background— the smell was horrible when I put it on, but the reviews said as much, so I thought, ‘ok, this is normal.’ After my reaction, however, I opened the bottle and the product was brown (it should be white). I immediately requested a refund from Amazon. An aside— I work long hours, and had a pretty decent window to return the bottle, so a week went by and I hadn’t yet returned the product; the charge went away on my credit card statement, though, so I let the whole issue pass and thought I’d return the product to Kohl’s when I had time. A few days later, however, I received a package in the mail from Amazon with another bottle - the same product with a lesser concentration of retinol. I was a little confused since I requested a refund, not an exchange, but I thought, ‘oh, Zo Skin must not want this type of negative publicity; they sent a lesser concentration just to try and removed the charge since it caused such damage to my face (which I described in the refund remarks).’ Long story short, today, 2 months later, I was charged $92.00 for the new bottle. I’m aware that the whole miscommunication was my fault for not clarifying or returning the bottle that was sent to me as an exchange that I didn’t ask for, but I disputed the charge. I have not tried the new bottle for fear that it will do the same thing to my skin. I do not want to pay ANYTHING for a product that caused me to use PTO from work and caused acne scars on my face that even months later are still there. I will continue to use Zo Skin, but I will never EVER use this product.
