Super happy so far

I really like this foot rest and have already benefited from using it. I can now raise up my chair so that my arms/shoulders are relaxed when I'm typing all day or mousing around the computer. My legs aren't dangling or restless; they now have a surface to rest on while I'm at the right height for the desktop to meet my arms. I'm not having to cross and uncross my legs or sit on a bent leg for comfort (all are so bad for a woman's hips and back). I can now sit up straight and relaxed. Amazing what a little elevation can do. The cushion is soft but firm. The fact of having a curved side and a flat side, both of which are for resting the feet, makes it versatile. I can keep the flat side down and rest my foot over the curved side, or I can put the curved side down and lay my feet flat on the nubby flat side. The curved side down means I can pivot from the ankle and rock my feet a little, changing angles. It doesn't sound like much, but it really is nice because I'm not stagnant, sitting in one position. I can move my legs without having to adjust my whole body to find the right spot. A huge change that is honestly amazingly simple. I recommend this footrest. Note that the photo shows a blue line around the foot. That made me think it was an indented area for the feet and a decorative blue lining seam. There is NOTHING there like that. It seems that the photo is just outlining the feet for demonstration, probably to show how the foam contours and conforms to the foot. It's just a rounded cushion, nothing more, black and no design. Note as well that the "massaging beads" mentioned in the description are nothing more than a nubby surface on the flat side. It does feel nice on the bottom of the foot because it's a textured surface, but there's no massage action or sensation. The nubby surface does helps keep the footrest in place on the floor when using the curved side for your feet. Side note: I bought the footrest at the same time I bought a split keyboard and a lumbar cushion for my man-sized chair with concave chair back. The three things together have completely changed how I sit and how I function at the desk. The split keyboard allows my arms to be in a non-hunched-together position because they're slightly splayed outward to whatever feels right for me, a natural position. The keyboard takes getting used to for some applications, but that just comes with practice. The lumbar support helps my back stay comfortably supported in a chair that is too large for my female frame and which has a concave back support that does no one any good for all-day sitting. The lumbar support cushion is memory foam and conforms perfectly to my spinal curve.

Too small!
By Andrei on Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2025
The subject's feet in the picture belong to a toddler, as the foot rest came in way too small for adult feet. The cushion itself is pretty good, not too soft and not too hard.
